Requirements Draw
Every match starts here. The machine deals your options — three themes, three characters, three props. Your film must use at least one from each category. The rest is inspiration, and the film is about the theme you pick.

To qualify for judging, the film must use at least one element from each category. Using more is style points, not a requirement.
The rules
How it works
01
Spin the reels
Each category runs like a slot machine — the reels blur through the pool, then lock one result at a time. No duplicates inside a category.
02
Nine options, three picks
You don't use all nine. The film must feature at least one theme, one character and one prop from the board — your choice which.
03
One team reroll
Once the board is drawn, each team may request one official reroll of a single slot. The operator runs the machine and can spin as needed.
04
Finish & celebrate
No more rerolls? Hit finish. The board locks and your requirements pop up with the fanfare — copy them, share them, start the clock.
Maximum randomness. Every result comes straight from a cryptographic random source. No seeding, no weighting, no favorites — the machine cannot be steered.
Never the same twice. A result never repeats inside a category, a reroll always lands on something new, and a redraw never deals the board you already had.
Universal by design. The categories and pools were curated to be equally filmable in every region, culture and budget — so no team starts with an advantage.
