Development Executive and Producer bridging traditional Hollywood storytelling with generative AI. Lizz Lyons has 15+ years of experience developing and producing content for major studios and streamers, and today she produces and consults independently through Understory Pictures. Most recently, as Development Executive at Promise, an AI-native entertainment studio, Lizz managed creator partnerships, evaluated IP and led development deals where human storytelling meets emerging technology. Previously, she worked on Emmy-nominated series including HOMELAND (Showtime) and HOUSE OF CARDS (Netflix). At Amazon MGM Studios, she developed original international series and films across Southeast Asia, including MODERN LOVE: TOKYO and LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING. Lizz is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She holds an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts (TischAsia) and a BA from Smith College, and she is committed to diverse storytelling that amplifies underrepresented voices and cultures worldwide.
