About
Mark Chavez is an award-winning animator, visual effects (VFX) artist, educator, and entrepreneur. With a career spanning several decades, he has worked across multiple media, including laser light shows, video games, major Hollywood blockbuster films, and immersive public digital art installations. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA. He is best known for his pioneering work at major animation studios, his academic research in digital animation, and his recent creations in quantum-inspired art and generative artificial intelligence (AI).
