In A Blink

The challenge, create a short film based on the theme of “open/close,” while also finding a way to integrate the OpenArt logo into the story. This is my submission to the OpenArt "Open/Close Competition". Fun nerd fact: When an egg is activated at fertilization, it releases a burst of zinc ions from inside the egg. Scientists call this a “zinc spark.” In lab imaging, those zinc ions bind to fluorescent chemicals, so under a special microscope it can look like a tiny burst of light or “fireworks”. The spark seen at the beginning of this piece represents that moment in life.
