The amber road

How do you bring thousands of years of history to life using modern AI tools? For my new short film, I chose to explore the legend of the Amber Road, which once passed through modern-day Poland. It was more than just an ancient trade route connecting the rugged shores of the Baltic Sea to the warm Mediterranean. It was a vital artery of civilizations, carrying what was then known as "Northern Gold." To the ancient world, amber was priceless, but its true magic lies much deeper. Each of these sunlit stones is a tiny universe. Time stands still in every frozen drop of resin, forever preserving the breath of ancient forests and the mysteries of millions of years. When you hold it in your hands, you are touching eternity itself. This short film was created as part of the GenJam Director's Cup AI storytelling tournament.
