An AI generated piece for the 2026 “Director’s Cup” Sponsored by OpenArt and Machine Cinema. The challenge – complete the film in four hours (hence this is the “Director’s Cut” – I failed miserably to complete in the allotted time. The brief – representing the UK in the tournament, the film had to explore the nation’s cuisine. Popular narrative is that the UK has terrible food, which is absolutely not the case. The film was created with OpenArt, OpenArt’s Director Tool using Seedance 2.0 for the video, NanobananaPro for images, Luma Boards for prep/workflow, and Suno for the music.
